The Japan Rail Pass has long been a popular choice among travelers looking for an easy and affordable way to travel around the country. JR Pass has no rivals in terms of convenience: its rail network covers most major cities and tourist destinations in Japan. Increase in price may force some travelers to seek alternative travel options or adjust their travel plans to keep the increase in cost in mind.

The JR pass, a popular solution for traveling in the Land of the Rising Sun, has risen in price. The pass allows unlimited travel on Japan Railways (JR) trains which made it popular amongst tourists thanks to its convenience and good price.

Starting in April, Japan Rail Pass prices increased in all categories, including both standard and green passes.

New prices:

– 7-day Standard class pass: ¥50,000;

– 14-day Standard class pass: ¥80,000;

– 21-day Standard class pass: ¥100,000;

– 7-day Green class pass: ¥70,000;

– 14-day Green class pass: ¥111,000;

– 21-day Green class pass: ¥140,000;

These increases show a significant change from previous prices and may cause some travelers to rethink their travel plans.
